Communications Chief Talks Shaping Culture Through Core Values
24 February 2020
Leslie Krohn spent time with NWDC professionals Feb. 20 helping them understand how to think differently about communicating to teams, employees, and the workforce.
Krohn is chief communications officer and director of the Communications and Public Affairs Division at Argonne National Laboratory, Ill.
“Argonne has been reshaping our culture to be more welcoming, inclusive, and safe,” she said. “I was invited to share our case study to have a discussion about new approaches. You can be successful by following our model: be bold, be persistent, and be flexible.”
Prior to joining Argonne in 2018, Krohn held leadership roles in communications and marketing at Nielsen, Sara Lee, GE, and Accenture. She holds a master’s in integrated marketing communication from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
