More than 50 medical professionals participated in the Fleet Health Integration Panel

NWDC hosted the Fleet Health Integration Panel (FHIP) from 21 to 22 May 2024. FHIP serves as the overarching body to identify Health Service Support (HSS) readiness gaps, standardize practices, and organize the delivery of medical capabilities to the fleet. The panel meets in-person semi-annually, with bi-monthly in-progress reviews to continue the momentum.

U.S. Pacific Fleet Surgeon, Capt. Kim Davis, U.S. Fleet Forces Command Surgeon, Capt. Reg Ewing, and Dr. Mike McGinnis (SES), US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Executive Director, provided remarks.
The TYCOM Force Surgeons and numbered Fleet Surgeons, supported by their medical senior enlisted leaders, comprise the Board of Directors (BOD). Cross Functional Team (CFT) leads manage projects that support 5 lines of effort with United States Marine Corps counterparts for Maritime alignment: Force Management, Training and Readiness, Requirements Prioritization and Management, Materiel Readiness, and Clinical Quality and High Reliability.

· Tactical Combat Care (TCCC) Implementation
· Employment/validation of Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS)
· Quality of operational clinical services
· Cold Region Expeditionary Medical Operations (CREMO)
· Alignment of medical research and development to operational requirements
· Support of Military Health System Stabilization yields the dual win of improving force readiness and team skills sustainment
