Navy Warfare Development Center is proud to host the MAKO series.
Over 200 U.S. Navy Reserve Sailors participated in a 19-22 January maritime operational exercise named MAKO CHALLENGE at the Navy Warfare Development Center in Norfolk, Va.
MAKO CHALLENGE is part of a Chief of Naval Reserve-directed exercise series designed at the Operational-Level of War. The event is scenario based training on Maritime Operations Center (MOC) processes for Reserve personnel supporting USFF, C2F, C4F, C6F, and C10 MOCs.
The exercise prepares Reserve Sailors to meet the responsibilities of their mobilization billets and fulfills the intent of the Navy Reserve Fighting Instructions, “Design, Train, Mobilize and Develop.”
